Cases involving health and safety law

The Working Conditions Act contains many clauses ? mainly directed towards 'employers' -, aiming to increase safety at work. The Working Conditions Act contains a general prohibitive clause: acting in violation of said Act is prohibited should the employer know or reasonably have known that this could endanger the life or cause serious damage to the health of employees. Our advocates are well versed in advising employers during the investigation phase, for instance in preparing for interrogations by the Labour Inspectorate. We also regularly assist employers who have to appear in court for violation of the Working Conditions Act.
