Hans W.A.A. de Jong, LL.M.

Mr. De Jong joined our firm in April 2000 and practices from our offices in Rotterdam. He became partner on 1 January 2006. He mainly deals with cases involving economic and tax crime, including customs fraud. He has also brought a lot of Road Traffic Act cases to a favourable conclusion.

Following his qualification, until early 2000, he worked for the Legal Aid Board in Rotterdam. He had various extracurricular activities: a.o., he was internal president of the Coornhert Liga for criminal law reform and member of the Supervisory Committee of a penitentiary. He has various publications on criminal law to his name.

Mr. De Jong is a member of the Dutch Association of Defence Counsel.

He studied in Tilburg and speaks English and French.
