Mr. Boudewijn C.W. van Eijck, LL.M.

In 1992, Boudewijn van Eijck was one of the founders of our law firm. He became partner in 1994. He practises from our offices in Rotterdam. Following his qualification (1986), he joined Philips Iberica S.A. in Madrid, for one year. In 1987, he joined the law firm of Dutilh van der Hoeven & Slager, currently Nauta Dutilh, in Rotterdam.

He regularly acts as counsel in major fraud and environmental crime cases and in criminal cases involving accidents in a.o. the industry and civil engineering. Furthermore, he focuses on assisting police officials in case of shooting and other violent incidents. Apart from his Dutch practice, he also handles cases on Spanish soil involving Dutch parties. He is in close contact with a number of Spanish associates. In his advisory practice, he maps out criminal risks for the corporate world and designs internal corporate protocols in order to prevent criminal liability. He is also involved in the legal assistance of professional football players (soccer).

He is a member of the Dutch Association of Defence Counsel, the International Bar Association and the European Criminal Bar Association. He teaches Criminal Procedure in the vocational training for advocates.

Mr. Van Eijck was born and bred in Rotterdam. He studied at Leyden University and speaks Spanish and English.
